Susan Simonson is the HIM corporate coding manager for Reading Health System with operational management responsibility for facility and physician coding functions across the health system. As part of the Reading Health System Clinical Documentation program, Susan works jointly with the HIM clinical documentation manager to provide an effective, integrated clinical documentation and coding program. Her professional background includes facility and professional coding management, coding and revenue cycle auditing, adjunct professor positions with HIM/Coding programs. Susan received her bachelor of science degree from Eastern Kentucky University and is an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer.
